Shanghai Si Fang Boiler Works (Abbr. SFBW) was founded in 1931 and is one of the earliest manufacturers, specializing in industrial boilers and pressure vessels. The superior company is Shanghai Electrical (group) Corporation. The first water tube boiler in china was made in SFBW, so SFBW is said to be “The cradle of industrial boilers in china.” SFBW covers an area of 160,000 square meters and employs about 1,500 staffs, includes more than 300 engineers and technicians, among them, there are about 200 senior and middle-ranking engineers.

　　SFBW has licensed by General Office of National Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantine to manufacture A class boiler and three classes pressure vessel, moreover it has been acknowledged by the quality system of GB/T 19001-2000 – ISO 9001: 2000. It has also obtained two certificates of authorization from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the following is two certificates: S ------power boiler U ------ pressure vessels.

　　SFBW’s products cover a large variety of good quality, high efficiency and energy-saving boilers, such as corner-tube boiler, oil/gas fired boiler, double drums boiler with travelling grate, biomass fired boiler, waste heat boiler, thermal recovery steam generator for oil fields, circulating fluidized bed boiler, municipal solid refuse incineration boiler and straw fired power boiler etc. Several kinds of fuel can be applied in above boilers, e.g., bituminous, anthracite coal, lean coal, brown coal, gangue, oil, gas, wood waste, rise husk, coconut husk, distillers’ grains, palm oil waste, straw, urban waste and sludge etc. The boiler type comprises packaged boiler, unassembled boiler and built-up boiler etc. The steam evaporation ranges from 1t/h to 182t/h, the heat output is from 7MW to 70MW and the working pressure is from 1MPa up to 26 MPa. SFBW is able to conduct turn-key projects as design & construction of complete set boiler house and special high pressure vessels and chemical equipment such as 600-1200 mm synthetic ammonia tower, 500-1000 mm wound – strap high pressure vessels. Synthetic urea equipment with capacity of 40-60 thousand tons. The operating pressure of these equipment is up to 31.4 MPa. SFBW also produces 1 to 3 class pressure vessels and equipment.

　　SFBW has provided a great deal of superior products for all business lines in the past more than 7 decades. Of which, SF series of thermal recovery steam generator for oil fields was awarded “gold medal”. SZL series of water tube type packaged boiler was awarded “silver medal” by the state. SZS series of distiller’s grains fired steam boiler and, DZL, DHL series of corner–tube boiler was awarded “ new excellent product certificate and energy saving product certificate” by many national institute (National Science & Technology; National Economic Trade Commission; General Office of National Quality Technology Supervision; General Office of National Environmental Protection; General Office of National Taxation etc). SZS, WNS series of oil or gas fired boiler has been awarded continuously “Shanghai famous product” in the last twelve years. SHL type double drums boiler with travelling grate was awarded “Shanghai excellent quality product” and “excellent product certificate and energy saving product certificate” issued by Mechanical Ministry. The synthetic tower and wound-strap type high-pressure vessels were awarded “excellent quality product” issued by Ministry. “SFBW” brand has been awarded “Shanghai famous brand” and obtained good reputation at home and abroad.

　　SFBW has the transaction rights of self-management in import & export. Thermal recovery steam generator for oil fields, oil/gas fired boiler, corner-tube boiler, wood waste fired boiler and water tube packaged boiler etc. have been exported to Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Malaysia,Thailand, Iran, Bangladesh, Venezuela, singapqre, Vietnam, Burma, Australia, Germany, Japan, Nigeria, Canada，Algeria and Syria etc. continuously and obtained good reputation.
